How This Works
Dilution ratios tell you the proportion of concentrate to water.
A ratio of 1:4 means 1 part concentrate to 4 parts water. Total parts = 5. So if you want 500 ml of solution, you divide 500 by 5 to get 100 ml. That 100 ml is one part. You need 1 part concentrate (100 ml) and 4 parts water (400 ml).
This calculator does that maths automatically. You enter your total volume and your ratio, and it calculates how much concentrate and how much water you need.
Understanding Your Result
The calculator gives you two numbers: how much concentrate to add, and how much water to add.
Mix them together. That is your cleaning solution at the proper concentration.
Why this matters. Concentrate is expensive. If you dilute it too much, it does not clean well. If you do not dilute it enough, you waste product and money. The right ratio gives you effective cleaning at the lowest cost.
